Can't install Win3.1 on VirtualBox.

I am sorry, how to do that the right way.
My comp. has only SATA disks.

Your virtual machine configuration is only virtual and is unrelated to your real computer hardware. You can add and delete disk controllers and drives using VirtualBox Manager.

Did you create image files from the Windows 3.1 floppies?

To maybe test the bootableness (not a real word) of this iso, you might download some windows boot image online. Microsoft and others offer them. Almost any bootable iso like puppy linux or 4mlinux iso should boot to this machine.

Might be correct that it does require one to run setup.exe.
