Name resolution failure here means Yum can't resolve the host name "elrepo.org" to an IP address.
In some cases cleaning up: 'yum clean all' and running Yum again helps.

Else ensure you have configured your wired Ethernet connection correctly (because you have racked up 5 or more threads trying to configure your wireless connection so I suspect it doesn't work yet), then check what 'host elrepo.org; dig any elrepo.org' returns.
If that errors out too check your network configuration:
- '/sbin/ip link show|grep UP' should show the network device active,
- 'cat /var/lib/dhclient*/dhclient*.leases' should show nfo like gateway and domain name server addresses if your host uses DHCP,
- '/sbin/route -n' should show you have access to a gateway so traffic may exit to other networks,
- 'grep ^hosts /etc/nsswitch.conf' should show at least a "dns" entry,
- 'grep ^name /etc/resolv.conf' should show domain name server addresses and
- check your firewall for what traffic is allowed out and in.
