I have scoured the internet trying to find the right drivers, but all I found was this: https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/...lwifi/download and I get a "failed to install" error with no more information. My laptop is a Dell Vostro 15 5590, and the wireless card is either an Intel 9560 NGW, or Intel 9462 NGW.
Intel is the place for data on this. Intel has supported linux for decades.
Normally the drivers are installed by kernel developers with file from Intel. If you have a fully updated Ubuntu then the kernel I'd think ought to support the device.
flexico@flexico-laptop ~ $ uname -a
Linux flexico-laptop 4.15.0-99-generic #100~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Wed Apr 22 23:56:30 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I already checked Intel, and ended up with a file called "iwlwifi-9000-pu-b0-jf-b0-34.ucode" and instructions to copy it to the folder "/lib/firmware/" but it was already there.
