CAN'T GET MY CREATIVE SPEAKERS TO WORK ON CentOS 6,5
I'm on a HP Envy desktop under CentOS 6.5 trying to get my CentOS speakers to work. Do I need to
yum install driver software to get them up and running?
there is a bug
In that sometimes cent will set the sound to "mute" on install
click on the sound icon in the tray and unmute it
if that dose not work run

alsamixer is the terminal based sound control
Sorry John VV I should have noted that I already checked that and it was set to off, but I did double check it again just to make sure.

Ondoho I wish I had a great answer, I had them plugged in to the or so I though the "speaker" connection on top of the cpu. But they didin't work.
So i plugged them into the "green" slot in the back of the cpu" and it worked! My dumb mistake I guess!
