I have a 56k PCI modem (MSP3880) and can't get the feckin thing working, it won't auto detect like my sound card did and I don't have th foggiest what the feck to do now?? Can some1 please give me a **SIMPLE** idiot proof guide of how to get it workin please? Or I'm gonna get annoyed again and go back to that unstable piece o turd windows!

Did you check to see if your modem is a winmodem, if it is...chances are it won't work and won't most likely for a long time. You can check here and there are other sites too that I can't think of to check to see if your modem will work or not.
