Can't get kscd to go away!

My problem is simple, KSCD keeps loading whenever I put a CD in the drive. I close kscd, it pops back up a minute or two later. I kill kscd, same thing. I try to rip the cd, as soon as it looks for cddb info, kscd notices the CD again, and then also starts looking for cddb info, and I hear the head going back and forth in the drive. Any idea how to make kscd not load when a cd is inserted?

Thanks,
-Peter

Go into the settings by clicking on 'extras' and selecting "configure kscd", then unselect "Autoplay when cd inserted"

Makes sense, but I went into KSCD and it wasn't selected. That's strange... When I insert the disc it doesn't play, it just does a cddb lookup and sits there looking at me.

Thanks,
-Peter

Really? That is very odd. What happens when you disable/change the cddb settings?
