Can't get any mic output from the Speakers/Headphone

y Sound board dectected by the kernel is 00:14.2 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SBx00 Azalia (Intel HDA)

Now, mic recording/playback is fine except I can't here it through the speakers. all volume sliders are up. It's a L305D-S59222 laptop with a builtin MIC. It worked fine for pre KDE 4.3. Have there been changes in KDE to have disabled this feature? I can't say if this is really and kde issue or an ALSA issue. What commands/module option I should be passing. Or do I need a .asoundrc file. If I'm to vague, please ask. It's not an error at least I don't think so and sounds work perfectly. I would appreciate any info you can share, thank you

When you say "all volume sliders are up", what program shows this? some GUIs hide some of the faders. See if there are options to that effect, or use alsamixer on the command line to double check that the mic channel(s) are up and not muted.

In alsamixer all Volumes are up --- I just recently installed PulseAudio and there's a audio-loopback module, so I will be working with that instead. Thank you
