can't find zm script file to copy.

Hi !

I am trying to install zoneminder v1.22.3 on my RHEL 4 box and I am following the README.html located in http://www.zoneminder.com/fileadmin/...ds/README.html as my installation guide. I've finishd the mysql configuration and make installed it. After thet under the topid 5. Installtion it says as follows.
" The 'zm' script does not get installed automatically as it is not necessary for the operation of the ZoneMinder setup per se and is not necessarily likely to work correctly for distributions other than those from the RedHat or Fedora families. However if you want to ensure that ZoneMinder is started on reboot etc copy it to your init.d directory, usually something like /etc/rc.d/init.d or /etc/inid.d and then add it by doing "

but the thing is i can't find a script called zm in my directory hierarchy. so i can't start the zoneminder service on my computer. Any suggestions to overcome the problem.

Thanx in advance
Buddhike G.

You should have a script called zm.z in the package. If you know anything about shell scripting, and if you read that script, I beleive you will find that zm.z can be renamed zm, made executable, and used as described in the README for using the zm script.

At least, the opening comment names it as the control script, and the code offers start/stop options as mentioned in the README.
