"can't find program mozillafirebird"??

I can't believe I am stuck on this simple of a problem but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere as everyone else seems to know how to get this app to work. I downloaded it, I un tarred it into the usr/local directory and nothing I do seems to make it run. Trying to type it from a terminal either gives me the error "cannot find program mozillafirebird" or "bash: command not found"

I would really like to see what all the fuss is about, so if someone could tell me wtf I am doing wrong I would appreciate it.

Source would already be installed and running...

When I installed Mozilla Firebird on my machine, I couldn't figure out how to get it run either, but I found that you need to type "mozilla-firebird" to get it to open. "mozillafirebird" did nothing for me. Hope that this helps.

it's not in your path. either, in the firbird directory, type ./MozillaFirebird or wutever the bin is. or make a symbolic link in /usr/bin that points to this file and then u should b able to start it from from whichever directory.
