Can't find my modem.
 
Thanks to you guys, I now have Linux 7.1 Redhat up and running, but it can't find my modem.

My modem is a Conexant HCF 56k Speakerphone modem in PCI mode.

In windows, it reports it is on Com 3.

Any suggestions??

do you know if your modem is a winmodem or not? you can check out www.linmodems.org and also read up on some of the howto's at www.linuxdoc.org for info getting that modem configured if it isn't a winmodem.
