Can't find fc5server-i386

I'm trying to execute.
yum -y install mythtv-suite

I get this:
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Setting up repositories
http://dl.atrpms.net/fc5Server-i386/...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: atrpms

so, i go to atrpms and there is no fc5server-i386. Now what do I do?

if i do

yum -y list available i also get

Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
Setting up repositories
http://dl.atrpms.net/fc5Server-i386/...ta/repomd.xml: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: atrpms

I'm running RHEL 5.1 clean from the install. I used yum update to get current and that worked fine.

Any help would be great as i'm just getting started with this, and I'm a main-framer...its hard to think outside that box.

thanks in advance

You merely have a confusion between RedHat Enterprise Linux and Fedora. RHEL produces a new version every so often, much like other PC operating system houses. Fedora, though, being a bleeding-edge sort of developmental effort, produces a new OS release every 6 months; I can't even keep up, and I pay attention most of the time.

I am surprised that yum would allow you to attempt to install fc5 stuff into a RHEL system; there are very likely to be incompatibilities due to changing symbol values. In any case, the right thing to do is update from a RHEL 5 repository (if it exists), or upgrade to Fedora 8, which has been out since November, I think; it is fairly stable, and has some features that are not (yet) included in RHEL 5. A new package release (Fedora 9) is due out soon (I think May sometime), but my cynical self always runs at least one release behind the latest and greatest.

Ok, got it.

Looks like I'm trying to do an smp/e for MVS with a VSE tape.

I took out the .repo files from /etc/yum.repos.d and yum -y list worked.

Thanks...

DECSystems20 huh...I started on PDP-11s

Hows that for a trip in the wayback machine.
