It's on one of the install disks. Probably 2 or 3, though I am not sure. If you don't have the disks then search for it at rpmfind.net

Welcome to LQ.

I would strongly reccomend installing from source - see:
http://lamps.efactory.de/e-lamps-2-0.shtml

If you really want to use rpms then try rpmfind:
http://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2htm...redhat-8&arch=

i've downloaded file
apache-2.0.49-6tr.i586.rpm (from the apache website)

please tell me how to install it and configure it...
i'd really appreciate an easy-to-follow step-by-step approach!

(eventually, i want to be able to create PHP sites on my computer, setting my computer as localhost)

thank you all for your help.

(and by the way bulliver, i have all 3 disks of Red-Hat Linux 8, but i couldn't know where to find it there, and how to install it.)

You can install an rpm with:
rpm -ivh /path/to/file.rpm
