can't figure out how to put tabs below the URL bar in Iceweasel

I made the mistake of upgrading to Iceweasel 31.2.0, and it moved my open tabs above the URL without asking. This is unacceptable--both the tabs being on top and the browser changing my settings without permission. I can't find the old "tabs on top" box to uncheck. Where is it in this version? Thank you.

As far as I can remember iceweasel has had the tabs above the url bar, but google chrome has them below.

There is an extension for that. You can use the extension, change your CSS settings, or use another browser. Your choice.

Chrome has the tabs at the top, like every other modern browser I know of. Convergence of design is an unavoidable feature, I guess.

There is a way to change that, well ... it used to work, I'm having same problem, non sense modifications...

type about:config in the adress READ THE WARNING
then type tabs in the filter, search for the following line.
Code:
browser.tabs.onTop;false
It isn't working for me at the moment, maybe works for you.

Cheers
