Are you running as user or root? What are the permissions for /boot/grub? What is the ownership for /boot/grub? ---------------------- Steve Stites |
I have one user account, and i am running in it. i assume it is user.
permissions are as follows: OWner: View/modify Groups:View Others: View ownership: root. |

permissions are as follows: OWner: View/modify Groups:View Others: View ownership: root." The way that your permissions and ownership are set up only root can modify /boot/grub.
