Camserv and Logitech Quickcam Express

I have my Logitech Quickcam Express working rather well now, and I can view it on my desktop using xawtv just fine. I can serve it using the camserv program but I've found that the camserv generated video stream is very yellow indoors and often reddish when showing outdoor scenes. Does anyone have this program running to serve a webcam that transmits a clear color picture instead of being yellowed or orange'd? What settings are you using in the camserv.conf file?

light type

It seems that the kind of light is the culprit. If I turn off my office light the light from the monitor illuminates things well enough without distorting the color.

i'm still in the setup phase of this whole webcam thing =P.
how did you get your webcam to work? i have the same webcam as you, and were wondering how you got yours to work? are there any modules that i need?

when i use camserv right now, all i get in a browser window is a picture that shifts colours..... does that mean anything?

thanks for any help....
