Cam Stream install problems (Fedora)


[root@localhost camstream-0.26.3]# ./configure
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating Makefile
configure: configuring in lib/ccvt
configure: running /bin/sh './configure' --prefix=/usr/local --cache-file=/dev/null --srcdir=.
loading cache /dev/null
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
configure: error: no acceptable cc found in $PATH
configure: error: /bin/sh './configure' failed for lib/ccvt

Trying to get logitech webcam working have to get CamStream working then the drivers TIA

it appears you don't have gcc installed, so grab that package and then try again ...

ok got the compilers in and have compiled some other source to make sure they work ok..

But

I get a massive list of errors to big for the terminal to list them all, many of them are syntax errors this to me says that the code is incorrectly written for fedora in some way.
