cairo-1.0.2 and 1.0.0 - error: CAIRO_FONT_SCALED_BACKEND_DEFAULT undeclared

My dist is Xandros. I tried both 1.0.2 and 1.0.0. Both had the same error. The error is found in cairo-font.c.

What can I do?
