Cadaver help

Does anybody know of a good online guide/tutorial etc to Cadaver? I'm having a few problems connecting to a (password protected) webdav share on a Win 2003 IIS server, I'm getting 401: unauthorized when I try to access the share and I don't know how to start finding out what I did wrong!
