bzip2 library

I was looking for a Dc++ clone.I found something called QuickDc
i tried to install it but i get this message :"bz2 headers not found! If you have installed bz2 in an
unusual place, please use the "--with-bz2-includes=" option"
I downloaded something like bzip2-devel-1.0.2-10.i386.rpm , i installed it but i still get the same error.

Can anyone help me? Or recomend me something else(a dc compatible thing).
