bypassing windows media 9 plugin possible?

I want to check out some Battle for Ozzfest clips on mtv.com but i click on the links it says it does not detect the windows media player plugin for obvious reasons. Is there anyway i can get around this to be able to view the clips?

almost forgot i am using FC2 with mozilla .

i have the mplayer plugin and mplayer but it is specifically asking for the windows media 9 plugin. Maybe if booby spears wore a tux tshirt MTV would be more hip to supporting linux.
