Business Software, Marketing Plan, Screen Shot?

Hi, I am looking for what Linux has to offer regarding freeware for business. Marketing plans... I know about Open Office 2.4. But does anyone know of products competing with ? I presently don't know if they make programs for Linux, since it is not freeware.

I am interested in marketing plans, with automation, payroll, databases...

I'd like to see Linux business programs and screen shots.

Maybe if you give us an idea of what you're after we can be more specific. In general, that site you linked to seems to be more document driven than anything, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of real software. Marketing plans aren't really programs, they're existing documents, in which case Open Office will work fine. Payroll is tougher. One of the reasons I've still got Windows around is because there isn't anything in the open source world that can really compete with Quickbooks. As for databases, there are all sorts of choices in the open source world, including Oracle (although really just for evaluation purposes).

I've been running my small business mostly on open source software for three years now. The only places where we need to go back to a Windows world is for Quickbooks and complicated Word/Excel documents that our customers need.
