Question burning linux installation cds

I was reading on the Redhat site about how to burn your own linux installation cds. It said to download the .iso files and burn each one onto its own cd. Anyway, I did so, but during the download, I looked at a redhat 6.2 burned cd that one of my friends gave me and it had a whole directory structure. I have the Red Hat 7.1 iso files, should I burn them on, or am I doing this wrong? Thanks!

yes, you download the iso file, when you burn it, it extracts files from it and ends up having dir's and files and stuff.

i use Nero burner to burn cd's and in it, you go to file burn image and hit show all files and select the iso. if you are using something else, try to find an option where it says like burn image or somethng related to that. just ask your friend how where u got that other cd, he knows since he did it.

Yeah, under the Adaptec software it should be under one of the properties when burning the iso format to the disk. Not sure where though, don't have it loaded in front of me at the moment.
