burning cds in k3b for win98 ??

Hi guys
Ive been using k3b for a while to burn cds for various purposes ..most of the time the target audience had winxp computers , well this time my client has a win98 computer ... I burned a cd with default settings for him it opens on my winxp ( normal data cd) but it does not open on the win98 box ( actually it opens but it opens as empty, although it indicates that it contains 450mb). This happened to me when I burned once through winxp's default burner. So I guess it is a backwards compatibality issue. There are several types of burning methods in k3b which one should i use so that my cds are win98 compatible . Ive been using the ISO format.
Thanks

I think that the CD will have to have Joliet extensions to be read on a win98 box.

Just in case someone has the same problem and makes a search and hits this thread.
