hi this isn't really a question but i have got to say it any way
what a pleasure, linux hasn't failed to please me yet except for ati and my slow samba, but i couldn't believe how easy it was to burn my first CD In linux! using k3b it was a total pleasure i found it easier to use then any version of Nero i have used including version 6
although this isnt to do with burning a CD but how quick linux was to install as well it installed within a hour and a half including all the updates! and all i needed to install after installing linux was Xmule and firefox! if i where using windows for the exact same things it would have taken me a day or two with having to install things like office nortan anti virus and firewall and every thing els plus in windows you have to restart after every installation or update with linux i only did it once i think and that was during installation plus i didnt spend hours installing graphics, sound, modem, tv, network, mother board drivers pluss a restart after each, will linux ever disappoint me? if it does it wont be for a long time!! i hpe never!
i have been using linux for about 2-3 months now mainly on my sever which runs slackware and became windows free about a month ago and 2 days ago i installed suse 9.1 instead of slackware on my desktop as it is more newbie friendly still love slackware though but not for my main desktop for now but i wouldnt have anything els other than slackware or freebsd on my server.
right i have said what i wanted to say, just because i wanted to let anybody who is new or thinking of trying linux how great it really is and another thing does linux even know how to crash? im sure its actually a feature in windows where you can set it to crash once an hour if you wish lol
good luck to anybody trying linux out i hope you have as much look as me!
