I think I don't understand. With my question I meant which amount of your HD do you really need for Windows? In the attachement you seem to have a Windows-partition with more than 120GB. I use resize my Windows-partitions down to max 35 GB wich is enough for me.

I think you may be using terms wrong. A distro is a collection that offers way more than some source based install. A distro tends to offer an installer, some way to keep dependencies in check and some package management to allow users to simply add in apps.

What you may be wanting is a source built or from scratch install. Gentoo and LFS are great ways to fully customize an install tailored to your hardware, software and settings that you selected to be used for thousands of settings. A disto tends to have done all those with not only your hardware in mind but a whole range of hardware. A purpose build install would have no extras and only what it needed.
