Browser plugins issue

I have a 64-bit MEPIS 6.5.02 system running on Intel D945GCCR mobo.
DVD's play both video and audio, Audio CD's play with audio, the sound test plays properly.
I use firefox 2.0.0.3.
I installed 32-bit flash 9 using the already installed nspluginwrapper.
[as there is no 64-bit flash plugin as yet...ARRRRGGGHHH!!]
After that the flash test on the Adobe download webpage says
"Version 9,0,48,0 Installed Successfully".
.mp3s play audio fine.
Youtube video plays but no audio.
CNN Videos plays but no audio.
Foxnews videos show black screen no video or audio (but doesn't report any needed plugin or issue either).

I can't really see a good reseource or method for troubleshooting these browser plugin/streaming issues.
Anybody have any good ideas or pointers.

Thanks in advance.
Ken

SOLVED! Audio Browser Plugins issue

I found (since I am using the 32-bit flash plugin) I needed the 32 bit ALSA driver for it (lib32asound2)! I installed using synaptic (apt-get should work as well), and all the missing audio started working!!
I still don't have video in the foxnews videos but I can hear them now.

Hope this helps others!
