broadcom dirver compile error


hi every

i want to compile driver for my bcm43142 to enable monitorin mode on it

when enter "make" give me this error :

first you really DO NOT want to use the decoritave"desktop" folder to build software
"/home/hello/Desktop/backport/backports-4.0.1-1"
and your username is "hello" ???

and did you READ the building instructions and install EVERYTHING!!!!!! that is needed

also it would BE VERY!!! if you were to inform us as to WHAT OPERATING SYSTEM THIS IS AND IT's VERSION
from "backports" i am guessing some version of Debian

but why is it on the DESKTOP and not installed with apt

my is is Ubuntu mate 14.10
and I want compile it for enabling monitor mode on broadcom bcm43142
