Brasero/cdda2wav
I have been using Brasero to copy cd's and been pleased with its ease of use and quality of the the duplicate - no difference to original. I use two cd drives one copies the other automatically burns. I've upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 Brasero will no longer function it requires cdda2wav where do I find it and is it easy to install ?
Thanks in advance |
Have you already tried the package manager? If you go to System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager you can search for "cdda2wav" and install it that way, assuming it's there. It may ask for your password for authentication when you start Synaptic.

Thank you Mr Code for your suggestion I have tried it without success. Other problems showed up while using Brasero so I've uninstalled. I am now using k3b I miss the function in Brasero where one cd is copied on one drive then automatically burnt to a blank cd on a second drive. The problem happened after I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.04 maybe it will be fixed one day.
