Borland Kylix and Shockwave Flash problems

Hi. I've recently installed Borland Kylix 3 Open Edition, and I have a big problem with its fonts. They're simply unreadable, and I've no idea how to fix it. Here's a screenshot: http://members.lycos.co.uk/sweiss/Screenshot-7.png

Does anyone know of a solution?

Also, another issue. I've noticed that flash animations are very slow on my linux, compared to windows. Is there any way to resolve it? Does anyone else experience the problem?

P.S.
I'm using RedHat 9.

Thanks a lot in advance

not sure about the kylix thing. i haven't reinstalled that yet, and actually don't plan on it. but have you tried any of the ide settings? i don't remember if there actually is any, but maybe look for something like that.

for flash, what version are you running? version 6 of the flash plugin turned out to be useless. jerky video playback and scratchy sound. if you are using this version, try the older version 5. that version works perfectly for me.
