lenny45 Member Registered: Feb 2006 Location: Houston, Texas Distribution: Mepis Posts: 140 Rep:	bootup stops at 20% with: hdb:dma timeout error! i'm getting a "hdb:dma timeout error" after another re-install in the last 2 days. i can only boot up to a minimal "older system" install on the Live CD as well. I get to a 20% load on bootup and get this "hdb:dma timeout error" . anybody know whats going on? this just happened out of nowhere. BTW---i boot linux on a seperate Sata physical drive which is listed as sda. thx....
