booting windows from logical partition

I'm wondering if there is a way to boot an NT-like Windows via GRUB's chainloader directly off a _LOGICAL_ partition, so I could skip going into MS Windows Operating System Selection.
...so I could get away with common NTLDR placed in the primary partition?

I don't think you can do this easily. What's the problem specifically? With grub or lilo on the MBR, you should be able to choose windows or linux.
