I've installed Redhat Linux 7.1 just fine.
However, I chose to boot from a disk instead of
LILO, and sure enough * it isn't booting. *

I have Linux on a second hard drive, totally
seperate from the hda with Windows 98.
My partition table looks like this:
/boot hdb1 29M
/ hdb5 14...M
<SWAP> hdb6 36M
My boot disk has SYSLINUX on it.
Please help me!

Is there any way to fix this problem using
only the 2nd Hard Drive??? (hdb)

What happens when it 'doesn't boot'? Error messages?

The error message displayed on the screen is:
"Error booting: Please insert new disk
and press any key"

Many thanks to all for help.
I have Linux up and running
just fine.
I just needed to try to boot
from the CD instead of the
floppy.
Thank you all for your assistance.

I think the problem was that your boot disk was corrupted. Not bootable.
