Booting ISO with VMware Sever

How can I boot from an ISO without burning it with VMware Server?

i dont know about vmware-server but, in vmware workstation you can just edit the virtual machine settings and ask the the cdrom to use an iso, this can be done only after you add a virtual machine settings.(just the settings, like defining the space and all).

yeah that's essentially it, create the vm and in the configuration dialog for the hardware devices just hange the ide drive from a physical device to the file.

If you are going to boot from a image, try to use the full image (DVD IMAGE), because when you start to the installation you won't be able to switch between images.
