Boot Logo


Has anyone changed the default boot up screen and logo in Linux? I am looking for tips and such.

ahh me to the resuce again huh?

alternatively install gentoo! let's you set you'r own up or choose from a selectino in their modified kernel.

/me currently using larry the cow....

I have been considering installing Gentoo. It looks like a distro were the user has significantly more control over what is installed and the compilation options.

While we all know it's a complete waste of time I wouldn't setup a machine without it.
