Exclamation Boot loader lost. Need help?


Hi there I had to reinstall windows and lost my bootloader how can I get it back. I was usūng lilo but I prefer grub instead... Thanks for help...

You can use your installation CD. Bott your installation CD and choose rescue mode. Once you are in rescue mode then tell rescue to boot an installed Linux system. After it boots your Linux system then you can log in as root and run the command:
lilo

lilo will restore your bootloader to your MBR.

I also sugget that you make a boot floppy to use when your MBR bootloader doesn't work.
