Boot liveCD run hda2's programs e.g. firefox sword

How can I boot liveCD (knoppix 3.4) then run programs on hda2 e.g. firefox or sword?

Any help would be greatly appreciated especially help that gives a list of cli commands
for me to type. It seems logical to me that if I can get kio-sword and/or bibletime
working that I can use similar techniques to get firefox going also.
