boot kernel parameters?

I was wondering if there is a website which lists the different parameters I can pass to the kernel at boot time. I am having trouble installing MD 9.1 on a laptop and it freezes while installing firewire driver. I tried nofirewire as a parameter but it still fails? I have another thread stating the exact problem. I was just wondering what the parameters are for the kernel.

I got it!!!

I didn't find any kernel parameters but I did solve the lockup during the install. I just used linux noauto nofirewire. I think the noauto worked just fine. Once I got the os installed and up I configured everything which was messed up.
