Boot Error and Boot Log (Debian)

Hello, I have a bare debian netinst (etchy...i think) on my server computer im working on and I'm getting some start up errors.

Code:
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/64 error-71
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/64 error-71
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/64 error-71
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/64 error-71
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/8 error-71
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/8 error-71
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/8 error-71
usb2-5 device descriptor error read/8 error-71
im just goin by what I wrote down (i might have put one too many). I went to check the boot log at /var/logs/boot and it's not writing anything to the file it simply says:
Code:
(Nothing has been logged yet.)
So question 1.) What does that error mean?
and question 2.) Why is it not writing to the boot log (or how do I enable it)?

I've seen this with my system running Debian also. It has not affected anything.
I'm just shooting in the dark here, but I believe it's got to do with the timming in which hardware is normally initialized by the OS, and Linux boots too fast and pumps out this error during boot-up. Yet when it's completed boot-up, all USB ports are working. Something to the effect that the ports directly on the mother board (the ones at the back) are initialized in time for when Linux looks at them, but not the ones in the front of the computer that are tethered to the mobo through wiring.
Which is why nothing is written in logs, because by the time boot-up is completed, Linux found all USB ports are working.

i see, well is there anyway to change the way the boot sequence is setup so that error does not appear during the OS load?

It's kind of an eyesore when everything else on the system works flawlessly.
