Boot disk wont load

Hi all. Im trying to install slackware 11 on a IBM Net Vista. I read the instructions on how to create a boot disk etc. So i made 1 boot disk with the bare.i image and the root disk from install.1 and install.2. Problem is that when i insert the disk, the linux installation prompt comes up, but then stops when it tries to load. After it asks if you dont want to add any extra details hit the enter button, I press enter, and stops at loading vmlinuz...

Then tells me to put in a new disk. Do i need another image? Because i dont understand, i did what the instructions said to do. Thanx in advance!

The method that you are using is outdated. It is only useful if your computer cannot boot from a CD-ROM drive. You should go to one of the mirror sites listed on the Slackware site and download either the first two CDs or the DVD. These are bootable and they remove all of the questions about which boot and which root disk to use.

I was going to give you a link to a mirror but I cannot tell where you are located so I cannot know what mirror is physically closest to your location. The mirrors are listed here:
