Boot dilemma
Hi,
I have an 80 GB HDD. Partitioned like: 2 GB Windows98, 4GB Windows2003Server (FAT32), 10GB Windows XP(FAT32), FC3 (12GB), 20GB(FAT32), 15GB(FAT32), 5GB(NTFS) Anytime I start my PC, it asks for from which OS to boot. I want to make the Win2003 partition NTFS. But somewhere I have heard/read that if I make any of the OS partition NTFS, then it will cause some problems with the boot.ini file in which I have made an entry for linux and only MS OSs will work with it not linux. Is that really so? Please give me a suggestion. |
Changing the Win2003 to NTFS should not cause any problems with the boot.ini settings.

I converted the parttion to NTFS n it didn't cause me any trouble. Thanks to u anyways........
