boosplash "winxp like" bar stays for too long

Hi guys
i've just installed bootsplash, so that i can get a nice boot picture on my debian
I've installed debian stuff for this, patched the kernel, and it works fine ...
but i still have a strange problem :
there are two bars during boot process :
the first one is a yellow one, and shows the avancement of the boot process (from 0 -> 100%)
the second one appears during boot process ... it looks like the bar of the windows XP bootscreen ( it's green and same form)
i dont like the second one ...
if i press F2 to use verbose mode, this bar stays on the verbose mode ... and it even stays in my terminal (Ctrl Alt F1) after the end of boot ....
i would like to know how i can remove it ...
if anyone could help ...
