Smile Bookmarks in Firefox re-install

Will my bookmarks be reloaded automatically if I uninstall Firefox and then re-install?

Firefox bookmarks are stored in the user's home directory (usually ~/.mozilla/firefox/). So, if you don't delete this directory, the bookmarks will be safe, if you uninstall Firefox and then re-install it.

You can also backup bookmarks using Bookmarks -> Manage/Organize Bookmarks -> File -> Export.

Or just copy the bookmarks.html file somewhere safe and then use the Import function on the bookmark manager of your new install.
