Bodhi 12.04 and cairo dock

I am trying to use Bodhi 12.04 on a dual install. I can't get cairo Dock to work. I can't get docky either. Cairo dock starts at boot and flashes on and off once every couple seconds then closes. Can anyone tell me if there is an issue with using a dock on this op with e17? Thanks.

Run it on the command line and read the errors you get.
