boa-problems

hello,

i have a problem. i have a small ARM-based device. on it i installed the following software:

-dhcpd
to give my clients ip-addresses

-pppd
to create a internet-connection over umts

-hostapd
to create a access-point

-bind9
to create a dns-server for my clients

-boa
for a small webinterface

dhcpd, pppd, hostapd and are configured for my software. bind9 is cleanly installed. the boa-configuration is only very small changed (port;www-dir...).

is i start boa, it shows this messages and exits:
Code:
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] Before parse_debug, debug_level is: 0
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] Enabling Alias debug level.
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] Enabling CGI Output debug level.
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] Enabling CGI Input debug level.
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] Enabling CGI Environment debug level.
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] After parse_debug, debug_level is: 15
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] alias.c:103 - Going to add alias: "/cgi-bin/" -=> "/home/www/cgi-bin/" (hash: 15)
[13/Nov/2010:18:53:04 +0000] alias.c:145 - ADDED alias: "/cgi-bin/" -=> "/home/www/cgi-bin/" hash: 15
gethostbyname:: Success
gehostbyname:: Success?
ok, i know this error (it's german):
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ub...er/009749.html

in english:
i changed the hostname, but i forgot to change it in /etc/hosts. then boa shows this message.

i know this error, because it was not the first time with it.

but now, this fix doesn't work. i don't know why, maybe because i installed bind9? has anyone an idea? i wanna use boa, i like it. it's a realy good webserver, but this error is killing me. i tried many many things, but nothing worked.

as info: all the software comes from the officaly debian-repos.

thx,

best regards

Is there anything already running on port 80?
Code:
netstat -ln | grep 80

Thanx for asking the question, I almost forgot all about it. Forgotten all about it and wondered what to use. I need to run it on a freedos machine for an intranet. Yes, I found the dos binary but have not tried it yet.

this command shows nothing. so there's nothing else on port 80. another idea?

ou, a little software-update: i removed bind9. i installed dnsmasq, because it only makes what i need and it needs much less RAM than bind9.

but no changes.

thanks

resolved

i found the problem...

i wrote in /etc/hosts the name tbs_sys and not tbs-sys. i saw it, because i used tcpdump to log my traffic, there were much dns-requests to tbs-sys...

so a stupid fault^^

best regards
