Unhappy Bluefish editor


My bluefish editor has quit.
It doesn't load.

Have you tried launching it from a terminal to see error messages?

Also, what version of Mint and desktop? Has something occurred since the time it last work, like updates or such?

open a terminal and type bluefish and then hit enter. See if there are messages. If you get error message you can paste it here between code tags.

Try launching from the terminal and see what you get. Mine just popped right up. I have 18.1 installed Mate edition.Did you install bluefish via the software manager?

My bluefish editor has worked for years.
A friend installed it years ago.
I don't know how he installed it.

It looks like it's still there where it's supposed to be.

Try running it from a terminal and post any error messages that appear when you try to start it.
