blocking smux after net-snmp rpm install
I'm a relative Linux newbie, and I'm trying to harden my installation of RedHat 8.0. I've run nmap, and SMUX lists. SMUX seems to be out dated, and I'd like to block port 199, so I'm looking for a solution. It was installed via the net-snmp-5.0.9-2 rpm, and I need snmp for MRTG, but I don't know how to keep smux from installing. Given my inexperience with Linux (I'm more comfortable with OpenBSD), any help would be appreciated.
