Blocking msn with squid?

Hi everyone,

Still fighting with good old squid.

I have a problem that I cannot quite finger yet.

Here is the deal. I have squid as my proxy, up to version 7.0 of msn messenger I can block the darn thing with no problem. But the version 7.5 and 8.0Beta are not playing fair, if they cannot connect through port 1863 the use the port 80 and then I'm in trouble.

I even try using an
Code:
acl msn reg_mime_type ^application/x-msn-messenger_$
combined with a time acl that specifies the working hours. trying to stop it and nothing, I cannot block the whole microsoft network that at this moment seems to be the last option.

So if there is any ideas regardless how wacky they might sound about this please drop a line.

Would banning all connections with a destination address containing msgr.hotmail.com work? The address my Messenger connects to is 207.46.0.90 (which resolves to baym-cs346.msgr.hotmail.com), but I guess they might have more than one messenger server...
