blocking firefox browser identification

How does one go about changing/spoofing or blocking the remote identification of one's firefox browser? I know one can do it with konqueror, but was wondering what is the parallel/similar process for firefox.

Thanks

Download the User Agent Switcher plugin.

Tools, Extensions and go on from there.
