block size
 
I am using RH system , if I want to know the block size of the HD and the RH system , how do I check ? thx

Open a console window and su to root. Then enter this command: /sbin/tune2fs -l /dev/hdax (where hdax is the partition number of interest). Scroll down through the listing to Block Size.
