Block Keyboar and mouse

Hi there,

I would like to block the keyboard and the mouse, after a certain time of inactivity.

But don't want to use a screen saver, because I would like to see what's happened

on the screen in real time.

And when I move the mouse or type on the keyboard,

I have a box that ask the password.

Did any one have seen that ? for a Distribution like RedHat-9 or Fedora ?

Regards

To be clear about why I need that ?

I would like to be able to watch a film on the linux an to block the

access for the children to the OS without hidding the film, as a

screen saver does.

Thank's
